FURNELL LANDING

Public BBQ

A river landing at Tamboon with an upgraded boat ramp, enlarged floating pontoon jetties, toilets and parking, reached by an easy access road suitable for a two-wheel drive. A beautiful short walk follows the river through to Choof Choof, with good chances of spotting kingfishers along the way. An easy paddle up the Cann River leads to a sandy river beach that suits swimming, games, a picnic or fishing. Camping is no longer permitted here, which has freed up more parking. Peaceful, clean and well set up. Barbecue are wood fired, so come prepared.
